About Your Provider
Kathryn Balazs, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist with 27 years of experience in dermatology. She treats patients of all ages and specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys treating all skin conditions, with a focus on skin cancer screening and treatment, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, hair and nail disorders, warts, hyperhidrosis, lupus and autoimmune disorders, mole removal, leg veins, Botox and fillers.
She graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in English, where she was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUCOM) in 1996. Following medical school, she completed a one-year general internship and a three-year dermatology residency at Grandview Hospital and Medical Center, where she received the Koprince Award for outstanding presentation at the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD) national convention.
