About Your Provider
Tara Rower, APRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with 12 years of experience in medical dermatology. She treats patients of all ages, with a focus on skin cancer screening and treatment, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis.
She graduated magna cum laude from Wright State University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Tara went on to earn her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Wright State University in 2010, graduating summa cum laude. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Before joining DOCS Dermatology, Tara gained valuable experience in clinical settings at Dayton's Children's Hospital and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, where she developed a love for pediatrics. In 2012, she began practicing dermatology at a private practice in Beavercreek.
Tara is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She and her husband live in Bellbrook with their two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, watching the Bengals, and spending time with friends and family.
